Personally, I’m super STOKED that Johnston County is going to be represented in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.  Now, had I known that the car wash was taking place, I know my little Caliber could’ve used a thorough cleaning!  Thanks for sharing pictures and please keep us informed of all that you guys are doing to make this happen for you (especially if you have another car wash!).  Good luck!

Three months from now over 44 million people will see West Johnston’s band march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.  On that day, the Johnston County community and schools will be in the national spotlight.  Their success would not be possible without on-going the support of the community.  Cheering the kids on in a parade or participating in a fundraiser.

With hard work and dedication, anything is possible!

Anyone who has doubt about today’s youth just needs to see high school band students in action.  They march, they play, and yes they even wash cars to make money for the band!

I am a Freshman Trumpet Mom and I love the joy and pride that comes with being a part of the West Band. I have seen all the hard work put in not only by the wonderful and dedicated students, but also the parents.  “HEY KIDS,,,,WE ARE PROUD OF YOU AND WE WANT YOUR DREAM TO COME TRUE FOR MACY’S AND OTHER TRAVELS.  JUST REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONES BREAKING A SWEAT.  WE LOVE YOU AND HAVE YOUR BACK THE WHOLE WAY!!”
