Police Need Help In Cardens Lane Shooting

DURHAM, N.C. -

Police have no suspects in a Saturday night shooting on Cardens Lane.

Officers responded to a shooting call at 401Cardens Lane at 7:53 p.m. on Saturday.

When they arrived, the officers spoke with several witnesses who stated that a male was shot outside the above location and he got into a van.

The male victim was located at 308 South Alston Avenue with a gunshot wound to the leg. The male, whose name is not being released at this time, was transported to Duke Hospital with a non life- threatening injury.

Officers believe the male was shot during an altercation with another male subject at 401 Cardens Lane.

Officers do not have any motive or suspect(s) in custody at this time.
