JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. -

Smithfield, NC -- The Johnston County Public Health Department regrets that the walk-in flu clinic scheduled for October 27th from 2 p.m. - 7 p.m. has been cancelled. The County has temporarily exhausted its supply of both the seasonal and H1N1 flu vaccines.

Once the Public Health Department receives additional supplies we will notify the news media and the clinics will resume operation as scheduled.

While we are currently experiencing a shortage of vaccines, we anticipate receiving a sufficient supply in the coming weeks to meet the needs of our citizens.

For more information about H1N1 and the seasonal flu, please visit our new website at www.johnstonnc.com/flu or you may contact the Johnston County H1N1 Pandemic Hotline at 919.989.5600.
