Walk for Hope Honors Top Fundraisers

WAKE COUNTY, N.C.

RALEIGH, N.C., Oct. 15, 2009—On Sunday, Oct. 11, more than 3,000 walkers and runners gathered at the Angus Barn to participate in the 21st Annual Thad and Alice Eure Walk for Hope and First Annual Run for Hope. The 10k walk/run raised more than $400,000 for the Foundation of Hope for Research and Treatment of Mental Illness.

At the conclusion of the walk, participants enjoyed music, food and children's activities at the Pavilions at the Angus Barn, a new special events venue located behind the renowned restaurant. As part of the festivities, the following individuals and teams were recognized as top fundraisers for the year.
