RALEIGH, N.C. -
Financial help may be on the way for the North Carolina Symphony.
State lawmakers will give the symphony $1.5 million, but in order to cash in, the symphony has to raise $8 million in revenue and fundraisers.
The symphony recently held a fundraiser offering a private recital to the highest bidder.
So far the symphony has raised about $2.9 million.
