DURHAM, N.C. -
An apartment fire Tuesday night has displaced 19 people in Durham.
Durham fire officials said the fire at the apartments at 3554 Mayfair St. began just before 11 p.m. and caused fire damage to two apartments on the third floor and the roof of the building. Other areas also suffered from smoke and water damage.
The cause of the fire has not been determined and no one was reported injured. The American Red Cross is working with the people who were displaced.
