The Johnston Community College Foundation will host its annual Neal Lancaster-Four Oaks Bank Charity Classic on Friday, Oct. 9 at the Country Club of Johnston County.

Proceeds from the event will benefit athletic and academic scholarships, mini grants for faculty and staff, and support for curriculum and continuing education programs at JCC.

The tournament offers 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. tee times. A reception will be held on Thursday evening featuring a silent auction and reverse raffle with a grand prize of $5,000.

PGA professional and Smithfield native Neal Lancaster, Four Oaks Bank & Trust, and Deacon Jones Auto Park are the tournament's major sponsors. The event will feature special appearances by Lancaster and Clarence Rose, a professional golfer from Goldsboro.
