SELMA, N.C. -
A Selma woman who was in a motorcycle crash Sunday has died from her injuries, police said.
Kimberly Cockrell Lockhart, 40, of Selma, was driving on 70W Business near Regency Drive Sunday at 1:15 a.m. when she crashed her 2002 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Lockhart received serious injuries and she was transported by ambulance to WakeMed in Raleigh.
Police said no other vehicles were invovled and that speed and alcohol may have been factors.
