The Ava Gardner Museum, located in downtown Smithfield, NC, is excited to announce that on Monday, a newly redesigned website for www.avagardner.org was unveiled.
The new site, developed by Eric Dean with Inspire Media Associates, offers a more modern design while adding considerably to the content and images that were previously found by visitors to the site.
Visitors will now find detailed information about the museum, its history, and the collection, as well as a thorough history of Ava Gardner's life, including her Filmography and a Photo Gallery. In the coming months, an online gift shop will be launched (the museum currently takes phone and mail orders) and film and video archives will be added.
Jessica Meadows, Executive Director of the Ava Gardner Museum, stated, "It has been a goal of the museum for some time to redesign the website in an effort to provide those interested in Ava Gardner with comprehensive information about her life and films. The website's professional and attractive design will certainly appeal to those people that are interested in learning more about Ava and will encourage them to visit the museum."
The Ava Gardner Museum is located in downtown Smithfield, at 325 E. Market Street. For more information, calling 919-934-5830. The museum is open Monday-Saturday, 9am-5pm and Sunday 2pm-5pm with admission of $6.00 adults, $5.00 seniors and groups and $4.00 children.
