No Age Limit For Kids At Fire Safety Day

RALEIGH, N.C. -

There is no age limit on being a kid for the annual Falls Fire Department Public Safety Day.

The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 30 at Wakefield High School, 2200 Wakefield Pines Drive, Raleigh.

The Falls Fire Department will be serving free food and drinks while supplies last.

Kids can sit in a fire truck and other emergency vehicles including helicopters, police cars and EMS ambulances.

For the adults, The American Red Cross will also be there with the Blood Mobile (any one over the age of 17 years can give blood. You can sign up prior to the event or walkins are also welcomed.)

Throughout the day the department will exhibit several local agencies and related events. There will be aspects of the State, City and Wake County agencies.

Raffles, pie the fire chief and pictures with Sparky, the fire dog will also be available, along with a moon bounce, slides and a dunk tank.
