FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -
In an effort to raise money for the "Walking for the Cure" event to be held on May 1, 2009 at Fayetteville Technical Community College, members of the Fayetteville Police Department are hosting a fundraiser this Friday.
Volunteers from the police department, to include Chief Tom Bergamine, will participate in a Dunking Booth and/or "Pie in the Face" activities.
Pies will cost $5 for two; Balls for the Dunking Booth will be sold at $1 each.
The event takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fayetteville Police Department.
Citizens are invited to come out and enjoy the fun for a worthwhile cause!
