Peter Pan is coming to Clayton thanks to East Clayton Elementary students.
East Clayton Elementary School started its first drama club for students in third through fifth grades. Auditions were held in October and approximately 60 students signed up to audition or to be on the set/prop crew. Students practice once a week after school with some additional practices here and there. This is one of the biggest extracurricular activities the school has held that is also open to the community. Clayton High School wood shop classes have been involved in building the set and the PTA has been gracious enough to sponsor us.
The production is March 26 at the Clayton Center at 7 p.m. Tickets are being sold for $2.50 for students and $5.00 for parents.
