I was laid off on 6/19/2009 as a LPN after 17 years of service to this Hospital. The four doctors left because they are all lied to.NEWS 14 will be here next Friday the 10th for the Smithfield clinic's last day. Then what are the Medicaid and self patients going to do? I was also denied my 15 year longevity bonus. They said it was due after 07/06 my anniversary date. They are cutting costs by replacing the LPNs with CMAs and the new people have less benefits than we do. There is no such thing as seniority anymore. Please help the poor people of this county with access to health care.
