JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. Clyde's Chapel Baptist Church near Archer Lodge will hold its fall Brunswick stew sale Saturday evening, Nov. 7.Adult buffet plates (dine-in) are $7 for all the Brunswick stew and chicken you can eat. Children ages 6-12 eat for $3, and younger children eat for free. A quart of Brunswick stew is $6.Take-out service begins at 4:30 p.m. Dining in the Fellowship Hall begins at 5 p.m. An auction will be held after the meal.For information call the church office at 365-6969.The church is located at 16657 Buffalo Road, Wendell, at the intersection of Buffalo and Turnipseed roads. From Clayton, take Covered Bridge Road to Archer Lodge, turn left past the Fire Department, then turn left onto Buffalo Road and go four miles. From Wendell, take Buffalo Road south across the Johnston County line, and the church is just past Maggie Way and Turnipseed Road.
