SMITHFIELD, N.C. -
Two people were arrested for allegedly handcuffing their 4-year-old son, according to Smithfield Police.
Ann Britt and Linwood Maurice Stancil are both charged with child abuse. They were also accused of tying up the boy’s feet.
Both Britt and Stancil were released from jail on a $1,000 bond. Social Services say the two children that were living the with suspects are now in the custody of other relatives.
