Two Clayton High School students were injured Monday morning when they were struck by a vehicle at the intersection of U.S. Highway 70 and Robertson Street.
Jackson Smith, 16, of Candlewood Drive and Jacob Lowell, 16, of Short Johnson Road, were injured just after 7:30 a.m. when they were crossing the fourth inbound lane of Highway 70.
Both teens were injured but not with life-threatening injuries when they were struck by a 1990 Chevy pick up truck driven by Taris Lee Blalock, 62, of Knightdale.
No charges have been filed.
