You know the feeling. Your car is idling at a red light and there are few, if any cars, passing through the green light at the intersection.
You glance at your gas gauge, you glance at the clock on your dash and wonder: "When will this light turn green?"
With gas prices in hanging out around the $4 mark, it's easy to visualize every extra minute your car spends idling in dollar signs.
So it doesn't help when you come across one of those pesky stoplights that seem to drag on longer than necessary.
Don't sit in silence anymore. Tell us about the traffic signals that drive you nuts.
NBC17 will look into some of the most complained about traffic signals and find out whether they're timed appropriately or if traffic engineers could make some adjustments. Some of those traffic signals will be highlighted on air as part of the upcoming "Money Survival Guide" series.
Is there a stoplight in your neighborhood that seems to drag on way too long? Or maybe there's a traffic light that doesn't seem to stay green long enough.
Post your frustrations in the comments section below. Tell your neighbors and colleagues who share in your annoyances to vent here as well. The traffic signals with the most complaints may be featured on NBC17.
If your suggestion is picked, you may even be asked to appear on air talking about the intersection that drives you bonkers.
And don't stop there. If your commute is particularly pesky, tell us your story. All you have to do is click on the orange "share" button at the top of the page.
