With the magic of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade experience still fresh in their minds, the West Johnston Band is busily preparing for concert season and the kickoff of the three winter competition units.  Less than a week upon returning from New York City, a brass ensemble accompanied dinner guests at the 2nd Annual Holiday Spectacular on Friday—and it was a spectacular evening showcasing the various aspects of the WJHS Fine Arts Department. 

This Saturday the West Johnston Band will participate in the Clayton Christmas parade where the band will perform their show from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  On Sunday we invite our community and supporters to join us as we celebrate the holidays with the band's annual Holiday Concert on December 14th at 3:00 p.m. in the West Johnston High School Auditorium.  Bring your family and friends and enjoy the music!
