JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. -
A Johnston County man was killed after his motorcycle struck a pickup truck.
Ricky Norris, 55, was driving his motorcycle eastbound on Strickland Crossroads Road in Benson when he crossed the center line and struck a pick up truck driven by Eddie Barns, 60.
Barns was not injured in the accident, but Norris was killed instantly.
Authorities say speed and alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
