One Injured In Johnston Accident

FOUR OAKS, N.C. -

At least one person was injured in a single-vehicle accident on Black Creek Road Wednesday. According to Johnston County emergency communications, the driver of the car was ejected after the car overturned at 5271 Black Creek Road in Four Oaks.  

Two power poles were struck during the accident, resulting in power outages in the area. Progress Energy crews are currently working to restore that service. The driver was taken to WakeMed with unknown injuries.  

According to Progress Energy, 97 customers are without power due to the accident.  Crews are working to restore power and hope to have the power back up by 8 p.m.
