Steve Troxler, North Carolina's Commissioner of Agriculture, will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Johnston County Landowner Forum presented at the Johnston County Agricultural Center on Dec. 2, according to a news release.
The event, which begins at 6:30 p.m., will include useful information for landowners who are concerned with the future of their farm or forestry. The following professionals will present a variety of subjects:

Mark Bost- Service Forester, N.C. Forest Service
Dr. Mark Megalos, Extension Forestry Specialist, N.C.S.U. Dept. of Forestry and Environmental Resources
David Barnes - Hatcher's Bridge Tree Farm
Dwight Batts - Chairman N.C. Tree Farm Program
Joe Gregory - Farm Service Agency Director/Johnston County
Larry Such - Deputy Director of the N.C. Forest Service
Dr. Robert Bardon - Department Extension Leader, N.C.S.U. Dept. of Forestry and Environmental Resources.
Bryant Spivey, County Extension Director will give the closing remarks.
